Lenox Corachan Traumatology Department

Following the Master Plan for the refurbishment and extension of the Corachan Clinic, which was carried out by PMMT in 2016, a number of different renovations were carried out. Among them was the partial refurbishment of the first floor of the CC1 building, where the new Outpatients Department of the Corachan Lenox Traumatology Services is located. This unit has 9 consulting rooms and a specialised treatment room. It is equipped with large waiting areas, with direct access to the consultation, a reception desk with 3 workstations and a centralised nursing control that supports all the consultations. Both the consultation and waiting room models are faithful to the new corporate image designed exclusively for Corachan, which offers patients and their companions a designer space, designed with humanisation and comfort in mind.

This design moves away from the conceptualisation of the purely sanitary space and moves towards a more domestic space, where the user feels sheltered by the warmth of the wood and the installation of images of the connecting spaces. This project integrates 100% CCA and FM elements and criteria into the design.
